Ayush is a division of the Government of India and is responsible for the development, education, and research of Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Greek, Siddha, Homeopathy, and all others various Indigenous Medical Systems in India.
Also in February 2017, the AYUSH Ministry announced and issued a notice to start the admission process in BAMS, BHMS and BUMS courses through NEET examinations. However, various states objected to this decision and now it is planning to implement it from 2018.
CBSE conducted every year exams for students seeking admission in various medical courses for MBBS/BDS courses. It is expected that once the proposed system is implemented, no other private exam will be organized to fill the seats in various AYUSH colleges.
So those students who want to make a career in the medical field and want enter BHMS, BAMS or BUMS courses in the Indian Institutions, they should register for NEET 2019 and be present at the national level examination.
AYUSH Mantralaya will discuss the requirements for examination with the CBSE for Ayush courses. At present, the Ministry is going through regulatory issues involved in implementing this plan.
By incorporating this proposal, all AYUSH courses will come under a single roof and will maintain the quality standards of the students. This implementation will centralize almost all entrance examinations for MBBS, BDS, MD, MS and MDS courses, which include various AYUSH courses such as BHMS, BAMS, and BUMS.
At present, there is a total of 36,000 seats available for various UG courses under AYUSH colleges. If we talk about entrance exams details so I would tell you that today various state level universities conduct their individual entrance exams for these AYUSH seats. Students can examine the overall seat intake across India.
If we talk about the last some year statistics many students are interested in the admission in the course of Yoga.
